Mentoring Mixer

Mentoring Mixers are networking and career development events where young professionals review their career strategy with an experienced career coach.

Attendees pre-register by sending their resume for review by the coaches. At the event, registrants can take turns in 5 minute one-on-one resume reviews and career strategy assessments.

Mark McCurdy, Jobs in Non-Profit

Mark McCurdy is President of the Nonprofit Career Coach, a division of Jobs In Nonprofits, which is a small boutique company helping job seekers and nonprofit professionals fulfill their missions. As an inspiring leader, in-demand speaker, trainer, and one of America’s first nonprofit career coaches, Mark has helped over 4000 professionals accelerate their nonprofit careers into paid positions and has developed one-of-a-kind frameworks to help idealistic job-seeker find their social impact compass. Mark is author of the soon-to-be-released book Strategic Volunteering: Recipes to transform your life and career.

Stephen Maser, Career Collaborative

Stephen began his career in the private sector with a focus on sales and organizational development. After eight years of building a successful career, which included being awarded Salesperson of the Year at Monster.com, he decided to pursue his passion helping people build careers. Prior to joining Career Collaborative, he led Tufts University Career Services in the development of an employer relations program. Stephen holds a BS in Psychology and a MS in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Radford University.

Susannah Krenn, Tufts University Career Services

Susannah Krenn has been working with Tufts University Career Services since 2005. She meets with undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni in 1-on-1 appointments to discuss everything from resumes, cover letters, and interviewing to networking and finding a job or internship. In addition to counseling/coaching, Susannah creates and implements career-related programs for students of all class years and majors. Before she moved to the New England area, Susannah worked with Americorps as a GED teacher for homeless adults in northern Indiana. She received her MA in Higher Education Administration from Boston College and a BA from the University of Notre Dame, where she majored in psychology and art studio.
